Before that, the designs came from Frank Thrower, who was Dartington Crystal's designer from 1967 to 1987. Some of his designs were so well loved that they made it into London's Victoria and Albert Museum's 100 Best Ever Products exhibition. Many of Frank's designs still make up the core of Dartington Crystal's collections.
